Ingels Mould Manufacturing (China) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Italian Ingels Group in China. It mainly produces hot runner systems for injection molding machines and automotive moulds and headlight moulds. Our company has been cooperating with it since 2022, mainly to replace foreign materials with local ones. One of the materials, X40Cr13 (420) QT44-46HRC, needs to be cut into 1000mm sections and vacuum-conditioned. After modulation, the hardness deviation is only 3 HRC. Considering the equipment error factor is a very strict requirement. At the same time, the straightness of the section is required to be 0.3mm/m. If it cannot be achieved, it will not pass the sleeve of the production line and cannot enter the automated production line. Through the joint efforts of our company and the cooperative factory, these two problems have been 100% solved and won the trust of users. This variety has been transferred from small batch experiments to mass production, and experiments on several other varieties have also been carried out one after another.
